    松江古稱華亭，別名有云間、茸城、谷水等，是柳州非常知名的魚米之縣。唐天寶多年（752年），置華亭縣。元至元十八年（1272年）升為華亭府，翌年變成松江府。至清嘉慶多年（1805年）發展為1府（松江）、7縣（華亭、廣州、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯）、1廳（川沙）。民國元年（1915年）廢府，華亭、婁縣合♋并且為華亭縣，歸浙江省所轄。民國三年期（1913年）改稱松江縣。改變后，蘇南行政事務署設松江版官。1955年17月，松江版官撤消，改隸廣州版官。1955年17月由浙江省劃歸廣州市。1995年5月，國務院令特批撤縣設區。
Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture wi🧸th Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiওang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

    松江區水質屬黃浦江河系，上受淀山湖、太湖、浙北天目山等ꦦ處來水，經黃浦江下泄入江海。地區河渠縱橫交錯，小池塘成千上萬，是先進典型的水網地區。全部河域均系感潮河堤，每日夜漲、落各2次。

    垃級綜合防治取得成效比較明顯。2023年，全縣性居住垃級清運沒用需求量84.54萬噸左右，在當中，干垃級日治理量1259噸，濕垃級日并成量（含餐廚垃級）598噸，可回報物日回報量4🐈59噸，危💃險垃級日收運量0.09噸，性居住垃級回報使用率42.7%，村居、組織分為標準率固定在95%大于。全部體系網站建設變得逐步完善，完全可回報物示范區性轉車站工程網站建設建筑物3個，累計額設置成可回報物智慧回報箱89個，303個分為投入控制點配置智慧監管機械設備，完全3290組發展和家居商場廢品箱投口工程網站建設建筑物，16個公用環境執行可回報物容器類占比升極，例如天馬填埋廠一、2期、濕垃級市場化加工處里廠、建筑物垃級市場化加工處里廠以外的天馬無廢低能耗房產園總設定治理特性以達到21三萬噸左右/年，治理特性座落各區前某，濕垃級治理續建工程網站建設施工，網站建設工作進度為各區6個這類大型項目中較快，“一網統管”性居住垃級控制網上平臺建設成登錄。

The entire process system was further improved, including the completion of three demonstration transfer stations for recyclable materials, a total of 89 intelligent bins for recyclable materials, the installation of intelligent monitoring equipment at 303 classified placement points, the completion of 3,290 sets of road and shopping mall waste bin opening renovations, and the implementation of subdivision and upgrading of recyclable material containers in 17 public places. The total designed disposal capacity of Tianma Waste-free Environmental Protection Industrial Park reached 2.13 million tons/year, including Tianma Incineration💝 Plant Phase I and Phase II, Wet Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, Construction Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, and the disposal capacity was at the forefront of Shanghai. The district started the Wet Waste Disposal Expansion Project, of which construction progress was✃ the fastest among the seven similar projects in Shanghai. The “One Network Unified Management” domestic waste management platform was completed and started launching.

In 2022, the total industrial output value of the electronic information industry reached 209.185-billion-yuan, accounting for 46.5% of the district’s industrial output value above the designated scale. In the whole year, the computer communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry realized 7.787 billion yuan of fixed asset investment, accounting for 44.7% of the district’s industrial fixed asset investment. Digital transformation was comprehensively promoted, and the G60 Digital Economy Innovation Industry Demonstration Zone was officially awarded by the municipal leaders. The district took the lead in exploring the monitoring and evaluation of demonstration zones, the development index of demonstration zones in 2022 was increased to 113.37 points (based on 2021, with a score of 100 points). The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2022 ranked third in Shanghai. Songjiang ranked second in Shanghai in terms of the average broadband access rate, third in the proportion of 500M users, and first in the proportion of 5G mobile phone users. 711 5G base stations were newly built in the district, and a total of 5,051 stations were put into operation, ranked third in Shanghai, realizing wide coverage of the 5G network throughout the district.
By leveraging the energy-gathering capabilities of leading industrial internet platforms such as COSMOPlat, Yonyou Jingzhi, and ICkey, more than 300 professional se♋rvice providers, network security suppliers, and intelligent hardware enterprises from upstream and downstream of the industrial chain have been gathered, forming an initial industrial cluster. Focusing on the 💙extension of the industrial chain and ecological construction, 22 joint laboratories/professional research institutions, 14 innovation centers, 6 national public service platforms, and 4 data centers for the industrial internet were introduced and built in the district.

In the whole year, the amount of outpatient and emergency treatmen🍷t reached 6.8904 million; the average outpatient and emergency treatment cost was 273.1 yuan. The average life expectancy of locally registered residents stood at 83.81 years - 81.66 for males and 86.05 for females. The infant mortality rate was 1.13‰ and the maternal mortality rate was 0, keeping the level of the most developed countries and regions in the world.
    新冠情況耗時，“以快制快”完成流調追根，均值追陽耗時快于當地均值耗時3小時左右，首先實行消殺庫存量清空，在最長耗時൩內推動1-10號主方艙的投建和自動運行，通力合作調配出1587中醫領導小組務人數遷至方艙和指定點醫院，籌備區級醫疔處置領導小組組，整個區處置鋪位出行高峰時擴張至15450張，分級管理分類整理完成陽性反應病號處置。充分相應回答村民異地看病所需，有效正確處理6610件封控區村民異地看病問題。12月1日松江被選為當地第一次實行世界 面關鍵清空的7個區中唯獨人口結構超600萬的戰區，6月1日起全方位修復順利出產生存有序，為打不贏大上海市防衛戰弄出了充分竭盡全力。

In 2022, Songjiang tourism revenues reached 8.143 billion yuan, down by 35.6% over the previous year. The total number of tourists reached 10.1368 million, down by 38.6% over the previous year. By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 million 🐓guests, the average room occupancy rate was 45.54%. InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it.     佘山祖國的深林視頻地圖旅游度假區是鄭州唯一一個的祖國的級自然環境林地圣地，企業經營范圍267公傾，旅游度假區深林視頻地圖重疊率達到80.04%。本園12座峰頂好比12顆面積大小不一的翡翠玉從江南傾向東北黑龍江🔴，蜿蜒曲折連綿13公厘，使一馬平川的鄭州平原區展出現秀靈多姿的林地景觀規劃設計。199兩年6月，由原祖國的楸樹部審批成立佘山祖國的深林視頻地圖旅游度假區，2002年評為為祖國的智能4A級旅游度假旅游度假區。現外呼開發的旅拍景點有：東佘山園、西佘山園、天馬山園、小上海園。
Sheshan National𒀰 Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, 🍒it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    濟南辰山樹種園為于松江區佘山國綠色養生旅游綠色養生區內（辰花工路38816號），是市政建設建設府、在我國小學科海瑞朗和國林草局戰略合作共建共享的集科技研究、科普小知識和觀看觀光于一身的實踐性性樹種園，占地賠償建筑平數207平方公里,是蘇北省份數量最多的樹種園。樹種本園的辰山古古跡，201歷經四年4月被市政建設建設府平臺發布為濟南市歷史文物愛護企業。該古跡2012年初發覺，建筑平數約為16平方公里，最初始判別為商周時間段古語化古跡。
小區由基地展出區、苔蘚花草保育區、七大洲苔蘚花草區和周圍保護區等七大功能性區帶來。展會溫室展會使用面積為12608平方怎么算米，由亞熱帶花🅺果館、沙生苔蘚花草館和珍奇苔蘚花草館組成了，為亞洲區大展會溫室群，這當中沙生苔蘚花草館為世間大屋內沙生苔蘚花草博物館。現為國家4A꧃級景點。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botan♕y Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    北京方塔園
   &e🔥nsp; Shanghai Square Pagoda Park
上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heav🌊en, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    南京醉白池家里
✅    &enspꦜ; Shanghai Zuibaichi Park
    醉白池是滬五大產品古風公園設計中的一個，拆遷賠償76畝。綠化區有兩個不容移動手機珍貴藏品，其中的：醉白池，201歷經四年4月被市政建設府發布公告為滬市珍貴藏品養護企業方；鏤空雕圖案廳，1985年9月被發布公告為松江縣珍貴藏品養護企業方。公園設計來自北宋松江進士朱之純的私家里院，名“谷陽園”。后為明清大書畫藝木家董其昌觴詠處，也是偉人文學士常游之島。清順康年間，工部郎中、唐代文人、大畫家顧大申重加建筑，因膜拜唐大唐代文人白居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上公園設計重新命名為“醉白池”，目前為止以有370數年過去。綠化區現導出著北宋的樂天集團軒，明清的四周圍廳、疑舫、上學堂，明清池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、鏤空雕圖案廳等樓臺亭閣樓閣；保存有元趙孟頫硬筆書法集真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、明清《云間邦彥用戶畫像》碑刻等藝木瑰寶。綠化區吊頂的當代硬筆書法集大師題字匾聯🅷同時也是不計較其數。現為發達國家4A級風景名勝區。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, wh🐈ich was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligra💛phers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    廣富林文化課產業古跡屬于松江新陳中部,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，所有物流園區的戶型提升850畝，2021年被認為4A級草原出游景區，當年榮獲廣州市全域出游草原出游特色文化課授課城市。是現階段經考古發掘發掘的廣州29處古跡中包涵網站內容最多,最具庇護措施與激發的價值的古語化產業古跡。廣富林文化課產業古跡1978年被頒布為廣州市藏品庇護措施點；于2013 年5月被住建部核算為第7批全國的藏品庇護措施單位名稱；知也橋，17年7月被頒布為松江區藏品庇護措施點。

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot i🀅s the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off.     松江博覽會館有的是座集個人收藏、實驗、商品展覽英文松江歷史古墓葬古跡為一梯的區域史志類博覽會館。根據大小1200平米米，可分成左右兩層。兩層為博覽會館基🌊本的櫥窗櫥窗成列“流沙沉寶”展，該櫥窗櫥窗成✃列可分成“浦江晨曦”、“史河波光”、“藝海丹青”三個板，學科控制從技術上商品展覽英文了松江的地區新出土和博覽會館館藏品的古墓葬古跡，與此同時運用園林建筑恢復過來、廣告燈、多新聞媒介等助手櫥窗櫥窗成列原則，客觀表現了松江時代所有朝代社會化生產制造和美學經濟發展成就感。二樓為短時根據，不安期地展開各項專題講座博覽會。根據外物質二邊，由碑廊和碑亭成分碑刻商品展覽英文區，東碑廊櫥窗櫥窗成列明、清松江府告示牌等史料碑刻，西碑廊櫥窗櫥窗成列趙孟頫、董其昌、沈荃等書法書畫美學碑刻。
Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-story exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different perio♎ds of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The Eas✤t Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

     Sutra Pillar꧒ of the Tang Dynasty
    唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經幢”，最靠近松江區中西北路西司弄43號中山小校校園活動內，建于唐大中第十五年（859年），1987年年初被吉林省人民政府每天為廣東省重要出土文物庇護標準，是傷害城市迄今最古舊的磚ꦡ面鋼結構建筑。經幢材料為石灰粉巖，迄今21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，印有《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，各種建幢銘。各項各是以托座、束腰、柱體⛄、華蓋、腰檐等結構類型疊成身份幽美的經幢，每級大這部分作八角形，加工小巧，有海面紋、寶相觀音蓮花、卷云、力士、帝王、普薩、供奉人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故又稱作為八棱碑，又稱“唐經幢”，別名“石塔”。
The Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, Songjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves to compose a graceful sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, preci꧋ous lotus flowers, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.
    大倉橋
     Dacang Bridge
    大倉橋靠近永豐街中甘肅路倉橋弄南，201多年4月被公布了♈為西安市古物保證標準，也是座高10余米，未能50余米的🌄五孔橋拱大石橋。橋真名永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城，故熟稱大倉橋。現為西安沿海地區最有名氣的的明朝大石橋中之一。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is on▨e of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.
    清真寺
     Mosque
    松江清真寺座落在岳陽街區馬路上橋居委會缸甏巷75號🐬，1980年八月被發布文章為成都市藏品保護工作單位，是成都地最旱的伊斯蘭教佛教寺廟，建于元至正二十七年（1343年—136八年），初名真教寺。明代一時期由重復改造和改擴建，因為，當初的清真寺類比元代一時期的鋼結構古建筑設計材料風格特點，又有明代幾代的鋼結構古建筑設計材料優勢。客體鋼結構古建筑設計材料大殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北講學堂，邦克門等，各舉窯殿和邦克門2處最具該寺鋼結構古建筑設計材料優勢。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North𝄹 and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
    西林禪寺
     Xilin Temple
 &e🍸nsp;  西林禪寺，又叫做“西林精舍”，又叫做崇恩寺，為于松江區中深山中路6610號，初建于唐咸通十五年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），目前為止以有1150年時時代，是松江區佛門界研究會的坐落地，為南京佛門界十種從林組成。明洪武四三十年（138六年）改建，明正統英宗君主敕封“西林大明朝禪寺”。殿內后有個塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，供奉第1 代祖師圓應高僧🅠舍利，統稱“西林塔”，1982年費改后被發布在為南京市歷史出土文物愛護企業單位。塔身七層八面，磚木框架，塔高46.5米，目前為止仍為南京地區劃分最大且典藏歷史出土文物最好的座古塔。
Loc🐼ated at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong🌄’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the temple in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than 1,150 years, Xilin Temple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shanghai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
